After having some fun at Obama’s expense on Monday, rocker Mick Jagger offered some unexpected praise for the President a day later.
On Tuesday, following his in-concert criticism of the Obama administration’s use of NSA surveillance, Jagger tweeted his approval of Obama’s climate change plan.
Was a great show in Washington DC last night ending our US tour. BTW I applaud President Obama’s new climate change plans, very refreshing.

The President spoke at Georgetown University on Tuesday about his plan to set limits on carbon dioxide emissions for new and existing power plants. Obama also said he would only support the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline if it “doesn’t significantly exacerbate the problem of carbon pollution.”
Apparently Jagger is more favorable of EPA regulations than he is of the NSA.
During the Rolling Stones concert in D.C. on Monday, Jagger joked with fans that although President Obama was not in attendance, “I’m sure he’s listening in.”
