It’s not everyday that an early-90’s sitcom played by puppets becomes a perfect reference for the 2016 election, well, at least Donald Trump.
YouTuber Matt Orfalea produced a video in which he finds a striking resemblance between the Republican nominee and the money-hungry corporate triceratops B.P. Richfield from Dinosaurs.
The video makes a side-by-side comparison of Trump with Richfield and the things they’ve said over the years and throughout the show, respectively.
When Richfield barking in one scene, “Somebody remove this guy, he doesn’t exist!” Trump is heard throwing a protester out of his rally, shouting, “Get ’em outta here! Throw ’em out!”
One of the more unique comparisons was when Trump boasted about giving himself advice regarding policy, saying on MSNBC, “My primary consultant is myself because I have a very good brain and I’ve said a lot of things.”
Meanwhile, Richfield says to his employees in his office, “If I want to ask advice about anything, I’ll ask myself.”
Regarding Trump’s latest scandal involving inappropriately groping women and brags about grabbing “them by the pussy,” Richfield boasts, “Because of my position and social standing, I can say whatever I want to you. And you have no choice but to flatter me in return.”
