Liberals are insistent that hate crimes against racial minorities, the LGBTQ community, and Muslim Americans are exploding in the wake of Donald Trump’s victory. They’re so determined to create this narrative that they’re even willing to produce hoaxes just to show that the country is racist.
Taylor Volk, an openly bisexual student at North Park University, claimed she had received anti-gay notes that featured “#Trump” and homophobic slurs.

After gaining national attention for her story, she admitted that the whole thing was a hoax.
“Sadly, we discovered that the incident and related messages were fabricated; the individual responsible for the incident is not continuing as a student at North Park,” the Christian university’s President David Parkyn said in a statement. “We are confident there is no further threat of repeated intolerance to any member of our campus community stemming from this recent incident.”
Volk wasn’t the only college student to report a fake hate crime to show the intolerance of Trump supporters.
Northwestern University students Anthony Morales and Matthew Kafker pleaded guilty on November 21 for spray-painting homophobic and African American slurs, swastikas, and “Trump” in the Alice Millar Chapel on campus.
They will avoid jail time but have to pay $8,000 of dollars in fines, participate in 150 hours community service, and serve two years of court supervision. Both men claimed they were drunk at the time of the incident, and Morales agreed to go to rehab for alcohol addiction.
Media outlets around the country gladly reported on these stories despite the fact that they weren’t properly vetted by authorities. That didn’t matter though — the press wants stories of hate crimes, and anti-Trump social justice warriors will always produce them.
