Ann Coulter and Breitbart Tech editor Milo “the Kanye West of Journalism” Yiannopoulos have a lot in common: They’re both outspoken, conservative, blonde, and love Donald Trump. But the two sparred over whether the billionaire’s late-night tweets were hurting or helping his campaign.
“I’m a little testy with our man right now,” Coulter said on Yiannopoulos’ podcast, which was released on Monday. “Our candidate is mental, do you realize our candidate is mental?”
Coulter was referring to Trump’s recent retweet of a side-by-side comparison of the billionaire’s gorgeous wife and a less than flattering picture of Sen. Ted Cruz’s wife Heidi.
“It’s like constantly having to bailout your 16-year-old son from prison,” Coulter added.
She said that the Heidi retweet was the second-worst thing the Republican frontrunner has said on the campaign trail, besides mocking Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) for being a prisoner of war.
Yiannopoulos disagreed — he said “the trashier [Trump] gets, the more I love him,” and argued that the billionaire is attracting even more supporters by being so politically incorrect.
“A presidential candidate, and not just a presidential candidate but someone who’s probably going to get the nomination is saying your wife’s ugly and my wife’s hot,” the Breitbart editor said. “I think that’s amazing.”
