Reporter’s Notebook: Democrats plan to hold the Senate and Republicans polling better than Biden

The podium is where U.S. senators speak about upcoming bills and hearings, but the podium is empty because congress is not in session due to the inauguration of Donald J Trump for US president.

Washington Examiner national political correspondent Mabinty Quarshie joins Magazine Executive Editor Jim Antle to discuss how Republicans want to take the Senate and they think they have a favorable map, but Democrats believe that they have a plan to hold on to the Senate. They also discuss how there were a few states that were not really battleground states, and how they might be in play in the presidential election this year.
