One year into President Donald Trump’s return to office, the verdict is in: America is rising, rebuilding, and roaring back.
When Republicans and Trump took control, we made a promise to the people, and we kept it. Not with press releases. Not with excuses. But with real action and real results that families and businesses can feel in their everyday lives.
Within hours of returning to office, Trump did what Washington had refused to do for years: he secured the southern border. Under Joe Biden, nearly 20 million illegal immigrants flooded into our country. Communities paid the price.
One year later, that chaos is over. No more caravans surging north. No more violent criminals released into neighborhoods. No more mass lawbreaking rewarded by government neglect. Trump promised to restore the integrity of American citizenship, and he delivered.
That’s the difference. Too many politicians wanted the problem to linger so they could campaign on it. Trump wanted a solution. And that same urgency is driving his work to deliver bigger paychecks and lower costs for families.
With the passage of the Working Families Tax Cuts, that mission is well underway. Together, Republicans and Trump delivered historic relief: eliminating taxes on Social Security for 88% of seniors, permanently expanding the Child Tax Credit, and cutting taxes by 15% for families making under $100,000. We ended taxes on tips and overtime. We created Trump Accounts, giving every newborn a $1,000 and an interest-earning head start on their future. We expanded education savings for job-ready certifications, not just four-year degrees. It was a big bill, and it’s going to make a big difference for working people.
Trump is also taking on one of the biggest drivers of household costs: prescription drugs. Under Biden, prescription drug prices went up 9%. Trump moved quickly to lower drug prices by expanding competition, signing new deals with pharmaceutical companies, and ensuring people are not paying more than in other countries. Seniors and working families are already seeing relief at the pharmacy counter.
Trump also got Washington off America’s back. Using the Congressional Review Act, Republicans and Trump wiped out 22 Biden-era regulations that were strangling energy production, agriculture, and small businesses. We unleashed American energy, cut red tape, and made it clear that the United States is open for business again. Energy production is up. Gas prices are at a four-year low. And bureaucrats no longer get to choke off growth from behind a desk.
Perhaps most importantly for our families, Republicans restored common sense. We said enough to the woke agenda coming out of Washington. We fought to keep men out of women’s sports. We stopped federal dollars from being used to push radical gender ideology in elementary schools. We strengthened parental rights. We ended environmental, social, and governance and DEI schemes infecting federal agencies and financial institutions.
The government should stand for fairness, merit, and families, not left-wing social experiments. Under Trump, it finally does.
Here’s the bottom line: Trump and congressional Republicans keep their word. We didn’t campaign and then cave. We didn’t promise and disappear. We delivered, again and again.
WHO WAS INVITED TO BE ON TRUMP’S ‘BOARD OF PEACE’?
And we’re not done. Next up is driving down the Biden-era costs that are crushing families: housing, healthcare, energy, and everyday goods. This isn’t a promise; it’s a plan.
One year in, the direction is clear. With Trump and Republicans working together, Washington finally answers to the people — not the bureaucrats, not the activists, not the elites. America’s Golden Age is here, and Trump is leading the way forward.
