Saget was born in 1956 in Philadelphia.
He got into the TV business and made a name for himself as Danny Tanner in Full House, an ABC sitcom, in which he played a widowed father of three girls from 1987 to 1995. The youngest of them, Michelle Tanner, was played jointly by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. He also appeared in the Netflix revival Fuller House.
In addition, Saget became the face of America’s Funniest Home Videos from 1989 to 1997, among other roles and stand-up comedy routines.
