Andy Cohen tore into now-former New York Mayor Bill de Blasio on air to ring in 2022.
Starting a drunken rant similar to what he did last year on CNN’s broadcast for New Year’s, Cohen talked to fellow host Anderson Cooper and the audience about how he won’t be missing de Blasio.
After asking Cooper if he feels “cleansed” and taking yet another shot of alcohol after the Times Square ball dropped at the stroke of midnight, Cohen began his criticism of de Blasio just before his successor, Eric Adams, was sworn in as mayor.

“Let me tell you something,” he began, ignoring Cooper’s pleas not to start.
“Watching Mayor De Blasio doing his victory lap dance after four years of the crappiest term of the mayor of New York. The only thing that Democrats and the Republicans can agree on is what a horrible mayor he has been,” Cohen said.
“So sayonara, sucker,” Cohen said. “2022, it is a new year. And guess what? I have a feeling that I am going to be standing here speaking next year. And you know what I am not going to be looking at? Dancing — as the city comes apart.”

The rant stopped as they paused to listen to Adams being sworn in as the 110th mayor of New York City.
