Former Fox News contributor Jonah Goldberg will join CNN as a political commentator in March, the Warner Media Network confirmed Monday, according to Variety.
In November, Goldberg resigned from Fox News, citing the channel’s Patriot Purge series, which he called “a collection of incoherent conspiracy-mongering, riddled with factual inaccuracies, half-truths, deceptive imagery, and damning omissions” in an op-ed co-written with Steve Hayes describing their decision to leave.
In similar fashion, Hayes signed on to join NBC as a contributor in late January.
According to the pair’s op-ed, “the release of ‘Patriot Purge’ wasn’t an isolated incident, it was merely the most egregious example of a longstanding trend.”

They took a shot at Fox’s opinion hosts, accusing them of amplifying “the false claims and bizarre narratives of Donald Trump” for the past five years.
“Fox News still does real reporting, and there are still responsible conservatives providing valuable opinion and analysis,” they wrote. “But the voices of the responsible are being drowned out by the irresponsible.”
Goldberg and Hayes founded their conservative news publication, the Dispatch, in 2019. The outlet publishes conservative political reporting and commentary.
Goldberg has also authored multiple books, with several becoming New York Times bestsellers.
This comes in the wake of the latest CNN scandal involving CNN Worldwide President Jeff Zucker.
Zucker resigned on Wednesday after revealing he was having an undisclosed relationship with colleague Allison Gollust, his key lieutenant.
