A dramatic surge of at least 113,000 Chinese nationals have entered the United States illegally since President Joe Biden took office. Their numbers equate to seven U.S. Army infantry divisions or, in terms of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, more than 22 PLA Combined Arms Brigades. The vast majority of these illegal immigrants, most of whom are unvetted and unknown, are widely reported by eyewitnesses to be military-aged males. Coincidence? It would be naïve to think so.
Rep. Mark Green (R-TN), chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, said this month he has information showing connections of some of these illegal immigrants to the Chinese Communist Party and the PLA. Green said he believes military personnel are being deliberately inserted into the U.S.
How many of the illegal Chinese immigrants are sent by the CCP to infiltrate and spy on U.S. technology centers and critical infrastructure? How many are sleeper agents sent strategically ahead of military action or to devastate national infrastructures, key utilities, and communications? How many will be used to distract the U.S. with nationwide, debilitating sabotage if China invades Taiwan?
Here is the significance of the surge: In the 10 years prior to Biden taking office, between fiscal 2010 and 2020, a little more than 15,000 Chinese nationals illegally entered the U.S. in total. It is remarkable that more than seven times that number have entered in just the past three years. And these are only the ones the Border Patrol knows about. 2024 promises to be another record breaker, with almost 30,000 illegal entries recorded so far.
It is not at all unreasonable to assume that the greatest adversary and threat to the U.S. would exploit Biden’s willfully neglected and open U.S. borders to bring spies and saboteurs into our communities. Large numbers of men traveling alone are now the most common profile of illegal entrants into the U.S. And there is no way to vet completely so many thousands before Border Patrol must, under Biden’s abuse of asylum restrictions, release them into the interior of the U.S.
In January, 10 former senior FBI officials wrote an urgent appeal to Congress, warning that the surge of foreign nationals illegally entering the U.S. from adversarial countries fully constitutes a “new and imminent” danger and is an invasion that appears to be accelerated, strategic, and well designed to gain access into the U.S. They concluded that U.S. agencies must work together now to identify and remove them immediately.
FBI Director Christopher Wray likewise told the House select committee on the CCP this month that China’s cyber threat to the U.S. has been made “vastly more dangerous” by a “whole of government campaign” that uses human sources planted within the U.S. to steal data and hide Beijing’s footprint on U.S. financial transactions.
Even more concerning is that China is targeting American citizens and communities to cause “real-world harm” as part of its overall plan against the U.S. For example, China has been pouring fentanyl across our border by selling it to the Mexican cartels. The No. 1 killer of our youngest adults, ages 18 to 45, is now due to fentanyl-related drugs — an integral part of the destruction of U.S. society and, again, not a coincidence.
Some claim that Chinese nationals are fleeing their country because of economic hardship, because COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted, or because China’s communist party leader is becoming more and more authoritarian. These assumptions are also reasonable. But even if only 1% of the Chinese nationals who have infiltrated our borders illegally are controlled by the CCP and here to do American citizens harm, then there are roughly 1,130 communist-led spies, military operators, terrorists, and saboteurs in America at this point. Nineteen terrorists were enough to kill thousands of Americans on 9/11.
It should anger every citizen that even with senior intelligence officials warning of a new and imminent danger to the security of the U.S., Biden blatantly continues to refuse to secure our borders, pretending he lacks the tools to do so. This is an outright lie that shows just how negligent and disinterested Biden is in the safety of the people.

The Republican-controlled House can and should do more to crack down on Biden’s border chaos. Biden policies such as the CBP One smartphone app (in which immigrants are able to apply for asylum and then be flown directly into the U.S.), along with the many other programs that support the administration’s goal of flooding the U.S. with unvetted foreign nationals, should be defunded immediately.
We cannot wait any longer — we are close to a point of no return. If our president is so irresponsible that he will not use his own presidential authority to secure U.S. borders, as former President Donald Trump successfully did, the nominally Republican-led House must act and defund Biden’s border crisis.
