Now that he’s a rich and famous author, you’d have a hard time buying Carl Bernstein’s house. But for a meager$4,200 a month, you could rent the famed Watergate reporter’s old stomping grounds in Kalorama.

The Washington City Paper’s real estate classifieds features an ad for “one of DC’s most prestigious addresses. … Former residence of Carl Bernstein.” (It just so happens that the Biltmore Street apartment was also once home to William Taft.)

The two-bedroom, two-bath spot encourages you to “enjoy the views from your top floor panoramic windows. ” All the better to spy on crooked presidents…
