Only blocks away from the White House, funnyman Dave Barry stopped by George Washington’s Lisner Auditorium on Wednesday night and let attendees in on his favorite story about the president’s mom.

Turning to more topical humor, Barry said, “I like Barack Obama … because of his policy to give every man, woman and child a helicopter.” After some confused laughter from the audience, he clarified: “OK, to be honest, I really have no idea what any of his positions are, but I like him, anyway.”

On the other Democratic candidate, Barry said, “I get the feeling that Hillary Clinton sincerely wants to make your life better — and if you try to stop her, she’ll kill you.”
