MOST VALUABLE PLAYER » Jason Campbell took a major step in his growth as a quarterback. It wasn’t just the game-winning touchdown throw; it was the command and poise he showed. His 23-yard pass to Chris Cooley on second and 22 was a thing of beauty.
PRO BOWL PERFORMANCE » For this offense to be explosive, receiver Santana Moss must play a big role. He did Sunday, with seven catches for 164 yards, including the game-winning grab. He was open on a few other occasions where he was missed.
OVERLOOKED » Reed Doughty had better hurry back. Though he’s been fine, he never had a game like Chris Horton played Sunday, with two interceptions and a fumble recovery. Horton was fast in the box and showed he could drop deep.
OOPS! » Can we nominate the special teams in general? Rookie punter Durant Brooks fumbled a hold and was lousy on punts; he has lots to prove. But we’ll go with Antwaan Randle El, for fumbling a second-quarter punt that led to a touchdown.

WASHINGTON » Just when the heat was intensifying on coach Jim Zorn, the Redskins rallied. There are still issues, but Zorn called a stronger game, increasing the tempo and staying on the attack. He correctly went for the two-point conversion (though it was snuffed).
NEW OLEANS » At the end of the first half Sean Payton wisely used his timeouts as the Redskins drove. When the Saints got the ball back, they drove for a field goal. But the Saints couldn’t take advantage of a backup safety and linebacker
