Tonight’s big ACC boarder war between Maryland and Virginia will be seen exclusively on ESPN360 broadband starting at 8.p.m.
The game which is a make up game for the one postponed during the first blizzard will get a full ESPN network treatment but will air on ESPN360 and can be seen on your computer.
Recently I spoke to the man in charge of ESPN360 Damon Phillips and the network which in April will be renamed ESPN3 has become a real tour de force in all areas on sports coverage and I like to call it my portable ESPN.
I take it anywhere with my laptop and so I am cable free.
Last week I said that Phillips told me that “We want to give people access to ESPN on as many screens possible, TV, computer with ESPN360 and on your cell phone.”
I should have pointed out that when Phillips was talking about cell phones he was not speaking of ESPN360 but of ESPN Mobile. Yet another way to access the network.
I am sorry for that mistake on my part and I will have plenty more with Phillips in the weeks to come.
