Two top Anne Arundel County softball programs will meet Wednesday when Chesapeake (10-1) visits Severna Park (9-2) at 4 p.m.
The Falcons won over Northern, 4-3, in the Cavalier Classic on Saturday on a two-run home run by junior third baseman Desirae Sullivan.
Senior pitcher Kaila Jenkins (8-2, 0.57 ERA) has tossed four no-hitters for the Falcons.
“She has it all,” Severna Park head coach Jeff Shepherd said of his ace. “She throws with a lot of velocity and has incredible movement on her pitches.”
Sullivan (six homers, 28 RBI), Jenkins and sophomore Sarah Castille make up the heart of the Falcons? order.
