The World’s Largest Golf Outing, benefitting the Wounded Warrior Project on Monday, Aug. 13, will be hosted by 11 Washington-area courses managed by Billy Casper Golf. The courses are 1757 (Dulles), Compass Point (Pasadena), Eisenhower (Crownsville), Forest Greens (Triangle), General’s Ridge (Manassas Park), Heritage Hunt (Gainesville), P.B. Dye (Ijamsville), Prince William (Nokesville), RedGate (Rockville), Reston National, and Virginia Oaks (Gainesville).
The event will be contested on more than 100 Billy Casper Golf courses in 24 states and is open to players of all levels. No USGA handicap required. BCG is aiming to top last year’s effort when it hosted more than 2,200 golfers at 80 courses nationwide, raising $43,700. Tee-off is at 1 p.m. with cart, range balls, lunch, on-course contests, prizes, and an awards reception. Rates vary depending on the course. Register at www.worldslargestgolfouting.com.
