Da’Sean ButlerThe 6-7 senior (15.8 ppg, 6.4 rpg) is the leader of a highly-productive West Virginia frontcourt that includes 6-8 Kevin Jones (15.1 ppg, 7.7 rpg), and 6-9 Devin Ebanks (12.1 ppg, 8.1 rpg). After winning eight straight and taking over first-place in the ACC, resurgent Virginia (12-4, 3-0) faces its toughest conference test so far at Wake (12-4, 2-2). Is Monday’s 69-67 escape act against UNC Wilmington, in which Sylven Landesberg hit the winning jumper, an indication that the Cavaliers’ bubble is ready to burst? Their mission Saturday is to stop 6-9 Aminu Al-Farouq (17.6 ppg, 11.6 rpg).
