Who was that in Serena Williams’ box at the U.S. Open Sunday night, as she was winning the title and reclaiming the world No. 1 ranking? Why none other than local entrepreneur Mark Ein, on whose Washington Kastles team tennis franchise Serena played this summer.
Also seen in the VIP box during Serena’s run for the title was former D.C. first lady Cora Masters Barry and Williams’ sister Isha Price (who sits on the board of the Southeast Tennis and Learning Center).
