Today a couple of talented talkers will get their chance to entertain and inform listeners on this the first weekend of sports programming at 106.7FM.
Lou Holder will be doing the 10a.m. to 2p.m. shift today. He is one of Washington’s most underrated sports broadcasters. He is a funny man who can talk sports with anyone and I am willing to bet will lock down a fulltime weekend gig at The Fan.
Then from 4p.m. to 7p.m. today it will be Joe Miller and Pete Medhurst doing the honors on The Fan.
Like Holder, Medhurst is another local voice who should shine on the Washington airwaves. Many people know him from the numerous shows he does on Annapolis outlet WNAV. He handles talk shows and of course is the radio voice of many Navy sports.
