Woodmont assistant pro Karen Paolozzi shot a 10-under-par score to win the Middle Atlantic Section PGA Assistant Championship Monday and Tuesday at Rocky Gap. Paolozzi (65-69 – 134) finished four strokes clear of Westwood assistant Billy Hoffman (74-64 – 138), who shot a course-record in the final round.
Paolozzi made just one bogey in the two rounds. She played from tees set at 87 percent of the length played by the men.
