Yes, these are tough days for Republicans, and not just in Washington: An e-mail was sent out Saturday by the College Republicans of Northwestern University, informing club members that they “decided to cancel the end-of-the-year BBQ because we only had two people RSVP.”
Perhaps spirits will improve upon returning to campus in the fall.
