Maryland has sold 8,500 of its allotted 10,000 tickets for the Military Bowl, according to the school.
Tickets are selling well for the game overall. As of Wednesday night, East Carolina had sold nearly all of its 10,000 allotment for the Dec. 29 game at RFK Stadium.
Expect a good crowd, certainly more than the 28,777 who turned out for Navy-Wake in 2008 or the 23,072 who came to Temple-UCLA last year.
