The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and “poet laureate of punk” will perform an unplugged-style solo set of songs and poems in the auditorium of the Smithsonian’s Reynolds Center in Penn Quarter. The event will also promote the Archives’ new book, “With Love: Artists’ Letters and Illustrated Notes.”
“What fans are going to experience will be a very intimate performance of songs and readings, different than what they may see at her concerts,” said Carolina Furukrona, the Archives’ director of development.
