Princess on parole
Even Washingtonians can’t avoid the ongoing adventures of Hollywood star Lindsay Lohan.
Natalie-Bovis Nelsen, who operates under the online moniker “The Liquid Muse” and who writes cocktail columns for Northern Virginia magazine and The Georgetowner, recently created a drink called “The Pop Princess On Parole” in honor of Ms. Lohan.
The drink is nonalcoholic, perhaps to honor Lohan’s recent stints in rehab. News of the drink made it all the way out to Tinseltown and was recently picked up by E!Online. “The Pop Princess on Parole” combines guava nectar, lime juice, orange bitters, sparkling water and Stirrings Bellini rimming sugar. We also hear that Nelsen has been tapped to create a custom cocktail for Guiliana DePandi’s (another local) wedding to Bill Rancic from “The Apprentice.”
