Sorry to burst your bubble, which is kind of hard considering we don’t have one, but we are going to have to practice indoors again today. It’s raining pretty hard out there.
I know if we were a high school girls’ cross country team we’d be out there, but we’re professional football players. We’re men, and we have too much to lose to get a little wet. I mean, we may not be getting paid next year, so we have to be careful. Besides, it’s not like we ever play in this kind of weather, right? And no, I didn’t watch any of the Monday night game this week.
So we’ll go back to the airplane hangar. This time, I’m told, the whole team might get a tour of Redskins One and may even get some pilot wings as souvenirs. (OK, it’s not lost on me that the boss’s plane gets shelter and we don’t.)
