Performers treated the A-list crowd at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater gala on Tuesday night to a full, two-hour-plus dance performance, which kept more than a few politically minded guests on edge.
During the two intermissions, many patrons could be seen racing out into the Kennedy Center lobby, as they frantically checked their PDAs for results of the day’s primaries.

After dinner, the crowd still had dancing on their minds, so they flocked to the dance floor. Even NBC reporter David Gregory got in on the act, albeit not very well, sources tell us.
