Gilman?s boys lacrosse team moved into sole possession of second place in the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference with a home victory Tuesday. Gilman defeated Severn School, 6-1.
The victory put Gilman at 6-2 in the conference (9-4 overall). Boys? Latin is in the top spot in the MIAA A Conference with a league record of 7-0, and an overall record of 16-0.
The Greyhounds led Severn, 3-0, at halftime. Zach Bradley and Kevin Carroll had two goals each for Gilman.
Severn?s only other A Conference loss came to Boys? Latin March 31. Severn (5-2 conference, 10-6 overall) is now tied with St. Paul?s School in the A Conference.
