This arrest comes 15 months after Ozuna was arrested in May 2021 and charged with aggravated assault by strangulation, a felony equated to a minimum of three years and a maximum of 20 years in prison, ESPN reported. Prosecutors later dropped the felony assault charges in July of that year, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
