Atlanta Braves slugger Marcell Ozuna was arrested on Friday morning and charged with driving under the influence.
Ozuna, a 31-year-old outfielder and designated hitter, was taken into custody by Narcoss, Georgia, police at 4:39 a.m. on Friday and charged with a DUI and failure to maintain lane, CBS News reported. He is currently in Gwinnett County Jail.

This arrest comes 15 months after Ozuna was arrested in May 2021 and charged with aggravated assault by strangulation, a felony equated to a minimum of three years and a maximum of 20 years in prison, ESPN reported. Prosecutors later dropped the felony assault charges in July of that year, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

Ozuna is currently signed to the Braves for a four-year, $65 million contract, which began in February 2021. He did not play against the New York Mets on Thursday night, a game Atlanta won 3-2.
