IndeBleu threw a party Sunday night for its new executive chef, Ricky Moore, for the airing of his “Iron Chef America” episode.

The episode, taped months ago while Moore was still with Agraria restaurant, had him going up against Iron Chef Michael Symon.

In the end, Moore won plaudits from the judges for his Thanksgiving-inspired menu, but Symon won the day.

“It was an absolute blast to participate,” Moore told Yeas & Nays. “I am a huge fan of the original Japanese Iron Chef program, and it was a bit of an out-of-body experience to be the chef competing in front of the judges, audience and cameras. The intensity of the show and the concentration required to perform is exhilarating. I am proud to have been part of it.”

Attention celebrity-watchers: The celebrities who are coming to town for the annual “Christmas in Washington” special on TNT have been announced. They are: Ne-Yo, “High School Musical” star Vanessa Hudgens (who recently got some of the wrong kind of attention thanks to racy pictures of her circulating on the Web), country superstar Alan Jackson, Italian vocalist Andrea Bocelli, “American Idol” runner-up Katharine McPhee and Colbie Caillat.

Dr. Phil and his wife, Robin McGraw, host for the fourth year in a row. This year’s show airs from the National Building Museum on Dec. 12.
