Redskins injury report

Strong safety LaRon Landry, to no one’s surprise, was officially ruled out for Sunday’s game vs. the New York Giants. Landry had said Wednesday that he did not expect to play.

Meanwhile, five players were listed as questionable: safety Oshiomogho Atogwe (hamstring), receiver Brandon Banks (knee), tight end Chris Cooley (knee), receiver Donte’ Stallworth, and running back Ryan Torain. Cooley, who guaranteed he would play a week ago, would not go that far Friday, instead just saying, “I’m doing as much as I can… I’m getting better every day.”

Still, it would be surprising if he did not play.

For the Giants, corner Prince Amukamara (foot), linebacker Jonathan Goff (knee) and defensive end Osi Umenyiora (knee) are out. Two players are questionable: tight end Travis Beckum (hamstring) and end Justin Tuck (neck). Tuck and Beckum were limited in practice today.
