If you were expecting to get an insight into First Daughter Jenna Bush’s view on her father’s policies, you were sorely disappointed after watching her interview with Diane Sawyer on ABC’s “20/20.”
When asked for her views on the Iraq war, Jenna replied, “I’m not here to talk about that … I talk about it with my friends; I’m just not going to talk about it on national television.” She did, however, try to shed light on the toll the Iraq war has taken on her father.

“Of course things weigh on him,” she said. “He’d have to be inhuman to not feel it…He doesn’t want war.”
Sawyer then reminded Bush of comments made a while back by actor Matt Damon, who suggested that perhaps the Bush twins should serve in Iraq.”I see the point of that question,” said Jenna. “I think there are many ways to serve your country…I hope that I serve by being a teacher.” She also added: “I don’t think it’s a practical question. I think if people really thought about it, they’d know that we’d put many people in danger.”
