D.C.’s new starlets already on camera

As it’s taken shape, we’ve been telling you about “Blonde Charity Mafia,” the new Lifetime Network reality show that’s following around some of Washington’s most connected, socially gifted young ladies. Well, Labor Day has come and gone, the social scene is heating back up, and the girls have already found themselves in front of the camera on several occasions.

Katherine Kennedy, Krista Johnson and Sophie Pyle have been getting their lives documented at local hangouts such as Mate, the Erwin Gomez Salon and Tattoo. This weekend, they (and the cameras) hit the Uncork the Cure event at Madame Tussauds as well as the St. Regis Hotel. And tomorrow night, they’ll be at the District Sample Sale fundraiser/shop-a-thon. Kennedy tells us they’ve also been filmed at their homes and “walking about town.”

The six-episode series is scheduled to run later this fall.
