The Mount St. Joseph baseball team will host a key game against Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference foe Calvert Hall Wednesday at 4 p.m.
Gaels center fielder Ryan McDonald led his team to a 6-1 victory over South Carroll in the championship game of the Jack Conley tournament this past weekend. McDonald, who was named the tournement?s Most Outstanding Player, went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored.
Mount St. Joseph is 12-2 heading into the game against Calvert Hall (15-2).
In other baseball action, Dulaney cruised to a 12-5 victory against Overlea over the weekend.
Steve Bumbry, who has committed to attend Virginia Tech on a baseball scholarship, had two home runs and five RBIs as the host Lions (5-5) defeated the Falcons in the Dr. David Allender tournament.
