No Neuvirth at Wednesday’s Caps practice

The Capitals are missing goalie Michal Neuvirth at Wednesday’s practice at Kettler Iceplex. Will get word soon on what the issue is. Instead, director of media relations Sergey Kocharov, himself a former goalie, is in full pads – much like old friend Brett Leonhardt used to do, on occasion, before he hit the big time and took a job in Toronto with the NHL last year. Tomas Vokoun is also on the ice. Otherwise, all seven defenseman are on the ice, including John Erskine. The lines look like this:
