Defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth (ankle) and corner DeAngelo Hall (knee) will join fullback Mike Sellers (thigh) on the sideline for Sunday’s game at Oakland. That robs the Redskins of their best defensive lineman, top corner and one of their top run blockers.
Haynesworth, whose durability was questioned before he signed with Washington last offseason, will miss his third game of the season. Hall has missed the past two games while Sellers will miss his first.

“It’s very concerning,” Redskins coach Jim Zorn said. “But one of the things that always happens is the guy that has to come in and the guys that surround them have done a great job. A little more communication has to go on in certain situations and then not having them there, not having that presence, will be felt. But that’s what we have to do.”
This will be the first time that
Kedric Golston has started in place of Haynesworth twice this season. Fred Smoot and Carlos Rogers will start at corner and Todd Yoder will replace Sellers. If something happens to Yoder, the Redskins would use more single back sets with four receivers.
“We’ll do what we can and we have plans for those things,” Zorn said. “We make adjustments as we go along.”
Defensive tackle Cornelius Griffin (knee), defensive end Phillip Daniels (knee) and right tackle Stephon Heyer (knee) all are questionable. But Zorn expects them to play.
