After being skewered in last year’s “Thank You for Smoking,” could K Street get the Hollywood treatment yet again?
Ken Silverstein’s controversial story for the July issue of Harper’s, in which he goes undercover as a British businessman to expose how lobbyists do business, may one day become a feature film.
As reported on Variety’s Wilshire & Washington blog, former LA Weekly Publisher and President Michael Sigman has optioned the rights to the story. He said of the investigative piece, “I’ve never seen anything like this.”
