Opening Day has finally come to Nationals Park.
However, spring-like temps are not in the forecast as overcast skies are surrounding the nation’s capital and the current 41 degree temperature feels more like 36 degrees with the low, but steady winds.
Taking the mound in the opener will be the Nats’ ageless wonder Livan Hernandez against Braves sinkerballer Derek Lowe.
Making their Nationals debuts today will be RF Jayson Werth, 1B Adam LaRoche and CF Rick Ankiel.
