Major League Soccer announced today that Portland rookie Darlington Nagbe won goal of the year and that Seattle goalkeeper Kasey Keller won save of the year. It’s pretty clear that Nagbe’s strike got a big push from Timbers voters, but Vancouver forward Eric Hassli’s nominee pretty much had an equal or better argument. Both goals left me without words – watch all four of the final nominees. As for Keller, no argument there whatsoever. Legend.
