D.C. Republican at-large Council Member Carol Schwartz could have the hottest car (at least circa the 1990s) of anyone in the chamber — a bright yellow Pontiac Trans Am convertible (for good measure, it sports a bumper sticker that reads, “I think I’m in college”).
And it’s a good thing council members are immune from parking tickets, or else she’d probably find one on her windshield: Schwartz’s inspection sticker expired on May 4 of this year.
Will she get it fixed or continue to flout the law? We don’t know; her chief of staff did not return a voicemail.
