St. Paul?s Johnson in Fla.

Steven Johnson, the former St. Paul?s High baseball standout, is in extended spring training with the Los Angeles and is expected to report to Ogden (Utah) in the rookie Pioneer League in June.

That is according to Dodgers? scout Clair Rierson, a Maryland-based scout for the Dodgers who signed Johnson last year. Johnson, the son of former Oriole pitcher Dave Johnson, was drafted in the 13th round of the 2005 amatuer free-agent draft by the Dodgers.

Steven Johnson, a right-handed pitcher, was 0-2 with an ERA of 9.53 in six games (three starts) in the Gulf Coast League last season, as he made his pro debut with the Dodgers.
