We all famously remember that former President Bill Clinton — the nation’s leader during the 1990s’ Internet boom — only sent two emails during his entire two terms.
Well, he’s proven to be a bit late to the technology game yet again. Clinton, writing from Johannesburg, Southa Africa, posted his first blog entry today on the William J. Clinton Foundation’s website. Clinton is currently on a six-day tour of Africa to monitor and oversee his Foundation’s efforts on the continent.
“Throughout our trip, my staff and I will be keeping an eye on what supporters like you are saying on our blog, so please share your thoughts with me,” Clinton writes. “I look forward to reading your responses as soon as I have a chance. Until then, I hope you’ll support my Foundation and the important work we have begun. It’s a great day to be in Africa.”
