Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings earned major cool points Wednesday when she showed up at Cleveland’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as part of her ongoing Midwest bus tour. And she even sang. Spellings sang the chorus to Stevie Wonder’s “Signed. Sealed. Delivered. I’m Yours,” and a group of students analyzed the voice vibrations as a science lesson.
“You just can’t help but tap your toe and sing along,” she told Yeas & Nays. “It’s great that they are teaching science and math through sound and using the rich resources of the museum to reinforce it all.”

“I still remember that one of my first dates was to a Peter Frampton concert,” she said. And no: Despite earlier revelations that Karl Rove once asked her out on a date, it wasn’t him.
