If you are a fan of the Washington Redskins, Sunday’s demolition of Texas Stadium couldn’t come soon enough. No use recalling the bad memories, so let’s remember the good times at Texas Stadium:

5. Redskins 26-24 (2008) » In the salad days of the Jim Zorn Era (remember his 6-2 start?), the Redskins beat the undefeated Cowboys behind Jason Campbell, Clinton Portis and Shaun Suisham.

4. Redskins 14-13 (2005) » Playing dead on “Monday Night Football” and trailing 13-0, the Redskins came alive as Mark Brunell threw two touchdown bombs to Santana Moss in the final five minutes.

3. Redskins 27-14 (1976) » In the final game of the regular season, the Redskins, needing to win to make the playoffs, rallied behind John Riggins and Billy Kilmer for 17 straight points in the second half.

2. Redskins 13-7 (1987) » In the famed Monday night “Scab Game,” Cowboys Danny White, Tony Dorsett and Randy White crossed the picket line of striking NFL players but couldn’t beat a Redskins squad assembled from players off the street, including quarterback Tony Robinson and running back Lionel Vital (26 carries, 136 yards).

1. Redskins 31-10 (1983) » In this clash of 12-2 teams, Dallas quarterback Danny White ran a fourth-down play when he was supposed to try to draw the Washington defense offside. As Ron Springs was getting stuffed, cameras caught stoic Cowboys coach Tom Landry, yelling into his headset, “No. Danny, no.”
