Even though D.C. power duo Juleanna Glover Weiss and Jeffrey Weiss (both lobbyists) are splitting after 10 years of marriage, Washingtonians can fully expect that hostess-with-the-mostest Juleanna will carry on with her VIP parties (she’s expected to keep the couple’s Kalorama home).
On the weekend, Juleanna hosted her first solo dinner party at her home, and nearly 40 people (the usual mix of reporters and political types) dined on Buca di Beppo pizza while they celebrated Blain Rethmeier’s new job as senior vice president for public affairs at the American Insurance Association.
Jeffrey took their children out to dinner, dropped them off via the back door about 8 p.m. and went his separate way.
