WATCH: George H.W. Bush throws out first pitch at Houston Astros game

The Houston Astros got off to a presidential start Tuesday night when former President George H.W. Bush threw out the first pitch.

Clad in an Astros jersey and some signature matching socks, Bush tossed out the ball from his wheelchair to pitcher Collin McHugh.

Of course, Bush is no baseball rookie: He captained Yale’s team in college and son George W. Bush was an owner of the Texas Rangers.

The Kansas City Royals beat the Astros 3-2.
