Top five games 5 No. 24 Southern Miss at No. 7 Houston » In the Conference USA title game, undefeated Houston will try to become the first from its league to make a BCS bowl. Case Keenum, the NCAA all-time leader in touchdown passes, has thrown 43 this year and just three interceptions but will be challenged by a defense that has returned a record seven interceptions for scores. (Saturday, noon, ABC)

4 No. 15 Wisconsin vs. No.?11 Michigan State in Indianapolis » Other than being the inaugural Big Ten title game with a berth in the Rose Bowl at stake, there’s not a lot of intrigue for this rematch. The Badgers were undefeated before their Oct. ?22 trip to East Lansing, where Keith Nichol caught a Hail Mary from Kirk Cousins to give the Spartans a 37-31 win. Can this game measure up? (Saturday, 8?p.m., Fox)

3 No. 5 Virginia Tech vs. No. ?21 Clemson in Charlotte, N.C. » Virginia Tech will make its fifth ACC title game appearance in seven years. The last two times the Hokies had a chance to avenge a regular-season loss in the championship game, they beat Boston College (2007, 2008). Virginia Tech has won seven straight since its 23-3 loss to Clemson on Oct. 1. The Tigers have lost three of their last four. (Saturday, 8?p.m., ESPN)

2 No. 12 Georgia vs. No. 1 LSU in Atlanta » It has been 20 years since the SEC expanded and became the first conference to establish a title game. Rarely has it had as little meaning. LSU is likely in the BCS title game regardless. Still, there is intrigue as the powerhouse defense of LSU tries to contain quarterback Aaron Murray (32 touchdown passes), who has led the Bulldogs to 10 straight wins. (Saturday, 4?p.m., CBS)

1 No. 13 Oklahoma at No. ?3 Oklahoma State » The Big ?12 no longer has a title game? Not so fast. This de facto title game is the best of conference championship weekend as it matches in-state rivals with electric offenses, guided by dueling strong-armed quarterbacks Landry Jones (OU) and Brandon Weeden (OSU). Could a Cowboys rout inch them ahead of Alabama in the BCS standings? (Saturday, 8?p.m., ABC)
