Polo s most wanted

Yes, that was John Walsh, of “America’s Most Wanted” fame, on horseback Saturday afternoon in the Smithsonian Young Benefactors Polo Cup.

Joining Walsh on the field was Chet Lott, son of Sen. Trent Lott, who shook hands and cheered from the sold-out, $500-per-ticket VIP tent.

The steamy weather didn’t keep the 500 polo enthusiasts away, or perhaps they were Veuve Clicquot champagne enthusiasts, based on the drinking to polo-watching ratio.
