NBA TV picks up Wizards Midnight Madness

This is clearly not the Wizards topic on everyone’s minds today, but NBATV is set to broadcast the Wizards’ first practice next Monday night/early Tuesday morning. The network will also bounce around the opening of NBA camps on Monday, also notably visiting the Los Angeles Lakers.

From the official release:

Washington Wizards’ “Midnight Tip-off”

NBA TV will be onsite with NBA Insider David Aldridge and former NBA scout Ronny Thompson to capture the first NBA team in history to hold a scheduled Midnight practice to launch their season on Tuesday, Sept. 28 at 12:00 a.m. (ET) from the Patriot Center on the campus of George Mason University in Fairfax, Va. The open practice will feature player introductions, interviews with many Wizards’ players, and an opportunity for fans to watch No. 1 overall pick John Wall in his first NBA practice as the Wizards scrimmage against each other.
