- Lyle Lovett, in town for Wednesday’s first Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song, grabbed lunch at Chef Geoff’s before the big night.

- World-class skateboarder Bob Burnquist skated around the Capitol grounds Wednesday, and many kids and Capitol Police tracked him down asking for a autograph.

Burnquist was in town for a Senate Environment & Public Works Committee hearing on the importance of youth education to solve the problem of climate change.
