Willis to ‘Die Hard’ in D.C.

McClane, not McLean

We have a hunch that the title of Bruce Willis’ latest “Die Hard” movie — “Live Free or Die Hard” — is the kind of title President George W. Bush wished he had conjured up for the global war on terror. Too bad “John McClane” got to it first.

But, should Bush be willing to venture away from 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., he can compare freedom slogans with Willis on Wednesday, when the actor drops by Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum to donate objects from the original “Die Hard” movie. Willis will donate such items as his character’s athletic shirt, a “Die Hard” poster and publicity still to the museum’s “Treasures of American History” exhibition, which opens July 12.
